What it collects
We collect the moments that show how much history, style and meaning can gather around a simple act. A plate, but also a room, a piece of choreography, a rule somebody wrote down, a habit nobody questions.
The rule we work to is simple: food first, context second. If a story can be written in one sentence and no dish, ingredient, drink or act of eating appears in it, it belongs somewhere else.
How it is filed
Every entry sits under one of three lenses. Long pieces have their own page; short notes are a single image with a single thought attached.
Sources
Anything stated as fact carries a source at the foot of the piece. Where a claim belongs to the subject rather than to the record — a founding date, an attribution — it is presented as their claim and said so plainly.
